FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR

 Location: Rifle, CO

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Description: EcoPoint Inc. (EcoPoint) is looking to hire a part time Financial Administrator to work in our office location in Rifle, CO. The Financial Administrator is responsible for the overall bookkeeping, payroll, and financial obligations of accounts payable and receivable. Duties will involve running bimonthly payroll and submitting the correlating tax obligations, managing timesheets, generating and uploading invoices into third party systems, financial tracking by customer, region, and/or contract, and paying outstanding bills and invoices. The Financial Administrator will also be required to submit financial reports to management and assist employees and subcontractors with billing questions and concerns.

To be a successful hire, you will need to have extensive experience in QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks TSheets, be accessible by phone or email during office hours, attend virtual weekly meetings, and work from the office at least two days a week. You must be clear and efficient in communication, be able to work independently, and have exemplary work ethic. You will also need to be proficient in Google applications such as Meet, Sheets, and Forms. Background knowledge of the oil and gas industry is recommended.

The Financial Administrator position will also need to have a valid driving license, maintain a clean driving record, and pass initial/random drug/alcohol tests.

    Financial Administrator Responsibilities:

    • Employee payroll (every two weeks)
    • Payroll liabilities and sales taxes
    • Input employee time for payroll as well as job cost
    • Employee contributions to IRA
    • Invoicing on a monthly and bi-weekly basis
    • Payments to subcontractors
    • Entering all expense and invoices to reconcile accounts
    • Providing monthly financial statements to management

    Financial Administrator Requirements:

    • A bachelor degree or equivalent.
    • Five years of experience in bookkeeping
    • Office management experience.
    • High degree of proficiency in QuickBooks Online

    GIS Analyst/Developer

    Location: Home based position. Physical office located in Rifle, CO.

    Description:

    EcoPoint Inc. is looking to hire a full time GIS Analyst/Developer to work as a member of a growing engineering team. Lots of growth potential as the company grows. Applicant will design and develop robust, performant geospatial apps.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience automating GIS workflows
    • In-depth knowledge of at least one of the ArcGIS APIs

    Vegetation/GIS Field Technician

    Position Type: Seasonal Hourly

    Location: Front Range, Colorado

    Description: This will be a highly autonomous position located where the employee resides. Individuals must have a high level of self-motivation, initiative, and an exemplary work ethic. The applicant will always be expected to represent the company in a professional and safe manner in the field. Fieldwork, sometimes in harsh weather conditions, includes stormwater inspections and mapping, vegetation reclamation surveys, GPS mapping, etc. Applicants will be required to navigate to remote Oil & Gas locations and use GPS hardware, and mapping software. Applicants will be required to conduct field inspections and some office work. Applicants will be required to maintain good communication with co-workers, operator representatives, and other contractors. This position includes limited office work and other duties as assigned. All field equipment and PPE will be provided by EcoPoint. The individual will report directly to the Colorado Field Lead.

    Travel: Travel will be required for the position. With work spread across the intermountain west, travel will inevitably be required. However, work will primarily be done on the Colorado Front Range.

    Job Duties: Individuals will be responsible for oversight of their day-to-day operations, and data collection.

    The position will primarily be responsible for fieldwork including reclamation monitoring, stormwater inspections, mapping, and other environmental surveys of oil and gas fields located on Colorado’s Front Range.

    The following is a list of possible physical activities that will be included in your daily duties:

       – Walking for extended amounts of time and distance

       – Carrying a load of approximately 20 lbs. for long distances

       – Lifting material with a weight of up to 50 lbs.

       – Drive company vehicles in a safe and conscientious manner

       – Working in extreme conditions such as hot or cold weather, wind, and insects

    This position will require customer interaction as well as interaction with EcoPoint staff.

    Other projects may include:

    • Perform reclamation monitoring for the Oil and Gas Industry, ensuring compliance with reclamation guidelines and additional regulatory criteria.
    • Vegetative monitoring in a variety of work settings, from federal contracts to small private landowners.
    • Fence removal projects
    • Stormwater Monitoring

    Additional duties will be assigned as required.

    Field Technician Requirements

    • Pass an Initial and Random Drug/Alcohol Tests
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • A bachelor degree or equivalent in an environmental/GIS field (preferred)
    • Plant identification skills
    • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, tablets, etc.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
    • Motivated problem solver
    • Ability to work safely and complete safety trainings as required
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work long hours when needed, with occasional out of town travel
    • Physically capable of performing locates, field mapping while carrying 30+ lbs of survey gear
    • Completing a variety of daily safety and work-related forms

    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    • A working knowledge of Colorado/Utah vegetation, noxious and invasive species
    • CDOT TECS certification
    • Perform UAS projects as required opportunity to obtain FAA part 107
    • ESRI products (ArcGIS, Survey123, Workforce, and Collector)
    • Field experience/Oil-field knowledge
